Well hello!
I finally caved in and signed up for Twitter last month. I am just now starting to get the hang of it, so thought I'd share it with you now. So, here I am on Twitter. Woot. Any tips or pointers would be excellent!
Also, just wanted to do a little check-in of my yearly reading goal to keep myself accountable. I joined the 100+ challenge but definitely will not be reaching that by the end of the year. Too busy with school and my two jobs. Maybe next year. As of right now for 2010, I've read 58 books. I feel lame. :( My new goal will be to get to 75 by the end of the year, which might be possible with my Christmas break and all, but we'll see.
How are you all coming on your reading goals for the year? Hopefully not as sad as me!

Hey ... two jobs and school -- ANY reading you get done is amazing. It took me three years to get to 100 books in one year and this was the FIRST year I actually made it.
ReplyDeleteAnd as for Twitter ... well, I joined and then quit after a few months. I just couldn't keep up with the pace of it. Blogging is enough for me. Have fun with it.

ReplyDeleteNot sure how many books I read this year, but I can definitely tell ya it ain't 100. With work, writing, and touring all over the place, I try to squeeze in as much reading as I can. It's the life of a writer, ya know?

I joined Twitter long time ago but still have a lot to learn, can't get used to it. :)
ReplyDeleteAbout the reading challenges I'm also behind on the 100+ reading challenge, since this year hasn't been so great I had to go into emergency surgery and all it's been hard to keep up, but for sure next year I'll accomplish all 100 books.
BTW I already added you on twitter :)
ReplyDeleteI joined the 100+ challenge as well, but don't think I'm going to make it. Oh well, I know I've read more books this year than last, so that's something!
ReplyDeleteWas on Twitter for awhile, but it's too much of a time-eater and I found it was interferring with my reading time, so haven't been on in several weeks. It IS fun though! :)
