CONFESSION SESSION (2)

I confess… I hate jeans. They are stiff and uncomfortable and I don’t know why everyone loves them! They recently announced that on Fridays and weekends we can wear jeans at work and everyone was excited but me. I still usually just wear my regular work clothes on those days. Now, if only they would announce we could wear yoga pants or sweats…

I confess… my kid basically lives off of Easy Mac. He is so picky that I’m honestly just happy anytime he will eat, and that is his food of choice… nearly all the time. So sue me!

I confess… I hate my wide feet that don’t always fit into cute shoes. Monday morning, I was running late and trying to cram my feet into boots with socks. It wasn’t working and I was in a rush  so I put on sneakers instead. Totally ruined my outfit – ugh!

I confess… my most recent motivation to lose weight again isn’t really for health but for vanity. Some shirts I recently ordered online are tighter than I’d like them to be so those are my motivation right now. Hey, whatever works!

I confess… Facebook memories sometimes suck. They reminded me on Monday that it was my papa’s birthday again, and this is his second birthday since he’s passed. Right in the feels.

I confess… I am an absolute, unexpected marketing GEEK! When I took over marketing at my library, I wasn’t sure how I would feel about it but now I am obsessed with it all: strategizing, creating graphics, statistics, etc. A post I made on my work Facebook page this week got HUGE traction and it was honestly a highlight of my week. I’ve also been growing my Dip business page a lot and get so many little thrills from it.

I confess… I am perpetually late to nearly everything by about five minutes.

I confess… I cooked dinner by myself both Saturday and Sunday and felt like a boss, y’all. I’m not much of a cook and usually do crockpot meals when it’s up to me, but I did actual cooking with recipes. Say what?! Jerry got both nights off free.

I confess… inconsiderate people really piss me off. We went to the park the other night with Caleb’s cousins, and when it was time to go home, several vehicles had blocked us in. We could not find the owners anywhere, so some guy pulled a post up out of the grass in order for us to cut through the fields to leave. Hey, whatever works, I guess… though I felt like a circus act as everyone watched us drive through the grass, yet NONE OF YOU CLAIMED YOUR DAMN CARS AND MOVED!

I confess… I’m working an all-dayer on Saturday and have not been looking forward to the 6 day work week. I’ll be loving life though when I’m off next Friday for it and enjoying my 3-day weekend.
