Let’s Talk is a new discussion linkup. I’ve decided to participate when I can because it sounds like fun, and seems like a great way to get re-involved with the book blogger community. Ever since I switched from Blogger to self-hosted WP, I seem to have lost a lot of readers and blog friends, plus I haven’t been AS active since I’m finishing up grad school. So, here I am! Today’s topic is…
What TV shows are you most excited for this Fall/Winter, and why? Yes, we encourage the pimping of hot men on TV. There is certainly no shortage of that this season!
I love TV. It reminds me of reading, but it’s not quite as awesome. I just like escaping into other stories, be it on TV or in books. I have a lot of shows that I watch, but I am really behind on a lot of them because school is kicking my butt right now. Thank God for DVR. Here are the shows I love:
The Walking Dead: because zombies. I love zombies and the idea of the zombie apocalypse both freaks me the hell out and intrigues me. Totally not into the new storyline though with the governor… he’s a total jerk.
Dexter: because he’s a straight-up badass. Oh, and Michael C. Hall ain’t too bad on the eyes, either. ;)
American Horror Story: because I am a fan of horror in all of its forms. This season is disappointing so far though, compared to the first season. I hope it picks up soon!
Hart of Dixie: because it’s cute, sweet, and Southern. They also play the best country songs. I am a total Southern junkie, and I love country music. My bridesmaids and I will be wearing cowboy boots at my wedding. Check it out.
Switched at Birth: because it’s surprisingly very good! And dramatic!
Extreme Makeover Weight Loss Edition: because I’ve lost a butt load of weight and this show inspires me and makes me almost cry every time I watch it. I hope they bring it back next year! Does anyone know?
And some sitcoms that I really love:
New Girl, Ben and Kate, Whitney, The New Normal, The Mindy Project, Partners, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia
And some other shows that I love but am literally seasons behind on (so no spoilers!) and will have to catch up on in DVD format someday:
Glee (I also love The Glee Project), Grey’s Anatomy, Modern Family, The Middle
